Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Tulsa is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA/PCT) in Tulsa, OK. The role covers patient care, including bathing, rounds, and transport, on 12-hour weekend shifts (7a–7p).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient bathing and basic care using basin-less products.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients and assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair

• Participate in hourly rounds

• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs

• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs

• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition

• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
