Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital-Tulsa is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA/PCT) in Tulsa, OK. You will assist patients with bathing, oral care, feeding and mobility, and participate in hourly rounds. Schedule: 12-hour day shifts with weekend differential; compensation $20.00-$24.38 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing, oral care, and hair care for patients.
• Provide hourly rounds and respond to call lights.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist transfer to stretchers/wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and patient rooms.
• Maintain unit stock and perform other duties as assigned.

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
