Select Specialty Hospital-Tulsa in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA/PCT) for night shifts, 12-hour days from 7pm-7am. Compensation ranges $20.00-$24.38 per hour plus shift differential, with orientation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and grooming.
• Perform hourly rounds to monitor patient needs and comfort.
• Assist with transport to treatment areas and transfer patients between stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, chairs, and other equipment.
• Keep patient rooms clean and organized; restock supplies as directed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
