Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Wheeling is hiring a Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) for a full-time day shift in Wheeling. You will provide essential patient care, assist with bathing and oral hygiene, and help with mobility and routine tasks under supervision.

The position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and weekend differentials as applicable. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED or 3+ years of related experience, and BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned
