Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Atlantic City, NJ is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time day shift. You will support patient hygiene, mobility and comfort, participate in rounds, and assist with transport as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift, three 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends, 7:00 am to 7:00 pmCompensation: $18.87 - $23.00 per hour (based on years of experience)
