Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital OKC is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for full-time night shift at our Oklahoma City facility. The role centers on compassionate patient care, including bathing, feeding, and daily rounds, with an emphasis on comfort and safety during extended 12-hour shifts.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and BLS certification within 90 days of hire; hospital NA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned
