Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital-Tulsa is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA/PCT) in Tulsa, OK. The role supports post-ICU patients with bathing, feeding, mobility, and daily care during 12-hour day shifts.

Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $24.38 per hour plus weekend shift differential; comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities are provided, including orientations, education support, and a clinical ladder.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred hospital experience as a nursing assistant or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, hygiene, oral care, and grooming.
• Perform hourly rounds and monitor patient needs.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with moving them using stretchers or wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly; restock supplies as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care.

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin‑less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
