The Courville Bedford - Carlyle is seeking an LNA or experienced PCA for a full-time night shift (11pm–7am) in Bedford, NH. Join our award-winning, award-winning staff in a small, personal ALF setting with a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include companionship, ADL assistance, and nursing-directed patient care. Experience preferred; strong English communication and teamwork are essential. Shift differential of $3/hr offered and competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Active LNA license or PCA experience.
• Recent clinical experience, long-term care experience.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, personal care, and assistance with ADLs.
• Provide patient care under nursing supervision, including bathing, dressing, and dining assistance.
• Transport residents to meals, activities, and appointments; respond to call lights; monitor safety.

Responsibilities:

Provide companionship, personal care, and assistance with ADLs

Provide patient care under the direction of nursing staff; including bathing (including use of whirlpool tub), dressing, assisting with dining and ambulation program

• Assist with transporting residents to and from meals, activities, and appointments
• Answer call lights and make rounds regularly to ensure residents’ safety and comfort
• Observe residents and report any abnormalities or changes in condition to supervisor
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment and follow Infection Control Policies

Qualifications:

• Ability to build rapport with residents
• Punctual, dependable work ethic
• Ability to work well in teams to provide a positive care environment
• Active LNA license or experienced PCA
• Recent clinical experience, long-term care experience
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Excellent communication skills and command of the English language
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions with or without reasonable accommodations required by Federal, State or Local law.
