Job summary

All American Assisted Living at Kingston is seeking compassionate Wellness team members to provide personal care, assistance, supervision, and companionship to residents in Kingston, NH. You will help residents maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life while respecting individual needs and preferences.

Qualifications

  • Compassionate, patient, dependable approach to resident care.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, and team members.
  • Ability to follow care plans, safety procedures, and supervision.
  • Experience in assisted living or healthcare is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respectful personal care to residents.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene).
  • Support mobility, transfers, positioning, and walking as directed.
  • Provide reminders, encouragement, and supervision per care plans.
  • Assist with meals and dining needs as required.
  • Provide companionship and engage residents in conversations and activities.
  • Encourage participation in community programs and social activities.
  • Observe changes in condition and report to nurse or supervisor.
  • Maintain privacy, dignity, rights, and confidentiality.
  • Document care and services accurately.

What You'll Do
  • Provide respectful and compassionate personal care to residents
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and walking as directed
  • Provide reminders, encouragement, and supervision based on each resident’s care plan
  • Support residents during meals and assist with dining needs when required
  • Provide companionship and engage residents in conversation and daily activities
  • Encourage residents to participate in community programs and social activities
  • Observe residents for changes in condition, behavior, routine, or personal care needs
  • Promptly report changes or concerns to the nurse or appropriate supervisor
  • Follow resident service plans, care instructions, and safety procedures
  • Respond promptly to resident requests and emergency-call systems
  • Maintain resident privacy, dignity, rights, and confidentiality
  • Document care and services accurately as required
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident areas
  • Work cooperatively with nurses, supervisors, families, and other team members
  • Complete required training, meetings, and in-service education
  • Perform additional resident-care duties within the employee’s training, qualifications, and assigned role
What We're Looking For

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and team members
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English as required to understand care instructions, document services, report changes in resident condition, and respond during emergencies
  • Ability to follow care plans, policies, safety procedures, and supervisory direction
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a Wellness team
  • Strong observation, organization, and time-management skills
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Previous assisted living, senior care, home care, memory care, or healthcare experience is preferred, but not required for all positions
  • Previous experience assisting with activities of daily living is preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and remain active throughout the workday
  • Ability to safely lift, transfer, push, or pull up to (physical requirement) pounds with assistance or available equipment
  • Ability to successfully complete required background checks, health screenings, and employment requirements
New Hampshire Credential Requirements
  • Candidates hired into an LNA position must hold a current and valid New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant license
  • Candidates applying for a PCA, Resident Care Assistant, or Caregiver position must meet the training and qualification requirements established by the community and applicable New Hampshire regulations
  • Employees may only perform duties that are permitted by their license, training, competency, and assigned role
  • Medication administration is not automatically included in this position and may only be performed by employees who hold the required authorization, training, or credential
