Job summary

The Courville Bedford - Carlyle in Bedford, NH is seeking a dedicated LNA or experienced PCA for a full-time 11pm-7am shift. A shift differential of $3/hr is offered in a small, personal ALF setting with award-winning care.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, ADLs, and reporting changes to nursing staff, while maintaining a safe, clean environment and collaborating with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active LNA license or experienced PCA.
• Recent clinical experience, long-term care experience.
• Punctual, dependable and compassionate demeanor with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, personal care and assistance with ADLs.
• Provide patient care under nursing supervision including bathing, dressing and dining assistance.
• Assist with transporting residents to meals, activities and appointments.
• Answer call lights and make rounds to ensure safety and comfort.
• Observe residents and report changes to supervisor; maintain a clean, infection-controlled environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide companionship, personal care, and assistance with ADLs

Provide patient care under the direction of nursing staff; including bathing (including use of whirlpool tub), dressing, assisting with dining and ambulation program

• Assist with transporting residents to and from meals, activities, and appointments
• Answer call lights and make rounds regularly to ensure residents’ safety and comfort
• Observe residents and report any abnormalities or changes in condition to supervisor
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment and follow Infection Control Policies

Qualifications:

• Ability to build rapport with residents
• Punctual, dependable work ethic
• Ability to work well in teams to provide a positive care environment
• Active LNA license or experienced PCA
• Recent clinical experience, long-term care experience
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Excellent communication skills and command of the English language
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions with or without reasonable accommodations required by Federal, State or Local law.
