Job summary

Grand Lake Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate patient care and support the interdisciplinary team. This casual position requires excellent communication, solid clinical skills, and the ability to float to the 2nd, 3rd, and 6th floors as well as the Emergency Department.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and nursing assistant certification (STNA preferred).

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have or be working toward Nursing Assistant certification.
• Completion of state testing certificate program preferred.
• Previous nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with basic care activities and comfort.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
• Float to the 2nd, 3rd, 6th floors and the Emergency Department as needed.
• Be on feet for extended periods and meet physical requirements.
• Casual employment with 12-hour shifts; weekend rotation and scheduling flexibility.
