Job summary

Grand Lake Health System in the United States is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team. The role emphasizes excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to perform a range of basic patient care activities to support patient comfort and needs.

You must be willing to float to 2nd, 3rd, 6th floors and the Emergency Department, work 12-hour casual shifts as needed, and maintain stamina for long periods on your feet. STNA certification is preferred.

Hours of Job

Casual employment working 12-hour shifts as needed based on departmental needs.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

Nursing Assistant with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Must also possess solid clinical skills and be capable of performing a variety of basic patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient.

Candidates must also collaborate and interact positively with the interdisciplinary team in order to provide quality patient care and achieve a high level of patient satisfaction.

Must also be willing to float to other work areas as needed; to include 2nd, 3rd, and 6th floors as well as to the Emergency Department.

Candidate must also be able to be on feet for long periods of time and possess ability to meet physical effort conditions within job description.

STNA preferred.

Education/Certifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must have one of the following:

Completion of state testing certificate program

Nursing assistant certification

Successful completion of at least one quarter
or semester of clinical work in a health-related program

Experience

Previous nursing assistant experience preferred.
