Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role entails assisting with daily living activities, documenting vital signs, and supporting safety and infection control on the unit.

Qualifications

• Basic ability to read, write and perform basic four-function math.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to obtain knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Cares for patients as delegated by the registered nurse and completes activities of daily living.
• Take and record vital signs including height, weight, and oxygen saturation.
• Report unusual observations to the nurse or charge nurse.
• Collect specimens and measure intake and output.
• Assist with feeding and nutritional needs; set up meal trays.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under supervision and uphold infection control policies.
• Support patient safety and participate in orientation and quality improvement activities.
