Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support daily patient care under RN supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient vitals, and document in the EMR while maintaining safety and cleanliness across the unit.

The role requires basic computer skills, strong communication, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced hospital setting. BLS certification and state CNA registration are required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills for EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily care of patients and may help with bathing, feeding, mobility and transfers.
• Measures and documents vitals and patient data in EMR.
• Performs rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge under RN supervision.
• Collects specimens and supports nursing procedures as indicated.
• Maintains stock, clean equipment and work areas; supports safe patient handling.
