Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant I for Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. This 32-hour weekly position features a day shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) with weekend and holiday rotation and includes a $1,200 new hire sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities include basic patient care, personal hygiene, mobility assistance, nutritional support, and helping licensed staff under supervision, within a culture that values community and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred.
• Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or equivalent is required.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Three (3) months experience in an acute care or long term setting is preferred.
• Fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or exemption by signing a statement after hire.

We are searching for a talented Nursing Assistant I

• $1,200 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)*

Hours: 32hrs

Shift: Day shift with weekend and holiday rotation; 7:00am - 3:30pm

Under general supervision of individually assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or designee, perform a variety of duties including basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support, maintain patient environment, and provide assistance to licensed staff in carrying out other related duties, etc.

Qualifications

• Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred.
• Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the equivalent is required.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Three (3) months experience in an acute care or long term setting is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $19.56 - USD $27.07 /Hr.
