Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fall River, MA is hiring a Nursing Assistant I for 32 hours weekly on the day shift (7:00am-3:30pm) with weekend and holiday rotation at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

New hires receive a $1,200 sign-on bonus; qualifications include Massachusetts Nursing Assistant Certification, CPR, and 3 months of acute or long-term care experience. The role supports basic patient care under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nursing courses.
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program preferred.
• Nursing Assistant Certification in MA or equivalent is required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Three months' experience in acute or long-term care preferred.
• Fully vaccinated against flu and COVID-19 or approved exemption with signed statement.

Responsibilities

We are searching for a talented Nursing Assistant I

*$1,200 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)*

Hours:32hrs

Shift:Day shift with weekend and holiday rotation; 7:00am - 3:30pm

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Under general supervision of individually assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or designee, perform a variety of duties including basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support, maintain patient environment, and provide assistance to licensed staff in carrying out other related duties, etc.

• Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.

• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred.

• Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the equivalent is required.

• Current CPR Certification is required.

• Three (3) months experience in an acute care or long term setting is preferred.

• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
