We are searching for a talented Nursing Assistant I.

Hours: 24hrs

Shift: Day shift, 7:00am – 3:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: St. Luke's Hospital – New Bedford, MA

Salary: USD $19.19 - $25.76 /Hr.
Rotation Schedule Requirement: every other weekend and holiday

Sign-on Bonus: $900 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)

Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or designee, perform a variety of duties including basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support, maintaining patient environment, and providing assistance to licensed staff in carrying out related duties.

Qualifications

Equivalent to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred.
Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or equivalent is required.
Current CPR Certification is required.
Three (3) months experience in an acute care or long-term setting is preferred.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or be exempt from vaccination requirements by signing a statement of exemption after hire.
