Job summary

Essentia Health in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota, seeks a Nursing Assistant for a permanent night rotation. You will provide personal hygiene care, assist with meals, monitor patients, and report changes to the RN while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Requires 6 months patient care experience or nursing assistant training; BLS certification or ability to obtain within 1 month. 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week), nights and weekends rotation, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• 6 months of patient care experience or completion of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program or EH Nursing Assistant training within 1 month of hire.
• Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program or current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry.

Job Description: Become part of Essentia’s accomplished team in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota, where 465 lakes provide endless options for water sports and recreation. Education Qualifications

Must meet ONE of the following requirements:

• 6 months of patient care experience
• Completion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program
• Successful completion of an EH provided Nursing Assistant training within one month of hire
• Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program
• Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry

Shift Details

Shift Rotation: Permanent Night Rotation (United States of America)

Shift Start Time: 11:00PM - 7:30AM

Shift End Time: Weekends: Every Other Holidays: Yes

Work Hours: 32 hours/week, Every Other Weekend 8 Hour Shifts Overnight Shift: 11:00PM - 7:30AM

Responsibilities

BLS certified or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire date. If qualified through the Essentia Health Foundation Course East Market: Completion of Essentia Health Nursing Assistant Foundation course within 90 days of hire.
