Job summary

Regency Hospital in Oregon, OH is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant for a full-time day shift (6:00 am–6:30 pm). This role requires a high school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of related experience) and BLS within 90 days of hire.

You will assist with patient bathing, hygiene, rounds, and mobility, supporting a critical illness recovery environment. The position emphasizes patient comfort, teamwork, and adherence to hospital protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned
