Job summary

AtlantiCare Rehabilitation Hospital, in partnership with Select Medical, is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) in Galloway, NJ. The role supports daily patient care on a 3/12 hour daytime schedule, with weekend requirements, and compensation ranging from $18.87 to $23.00 per hour plus shift differentials based on experience.

Responsibilities include vital signs, personal care, meals, mobility assistance, and patient transport.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience)
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Hospitals experience or CNA/NA background preferred

Schedule: 3 / 12 hour Day shifts 7:00am - 7:00pm (weekend requirements)

Compensation: $18.87 - $23.00 + competitive shift differentials

based on years of experience

A partnership between Atlanticare and Select Medical, our 60-bed medical rehabilitation hospital will open later this year and serve patients in southeastern New Jersey. Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data

• Assist patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving and hair care

• Deliver meals and snacks, feed patients who are unable to feed themselves and document oral intake

• Turn and position immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participate in mobility program

• Transport patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
