Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, Milwaukee, WI, seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care in a 3rd shift unit. You will perform daily care tasks, monitor vitals, and document activities.

Qualifications

• Must meet GS-3 to GS-5 standards including education/experience
• Ability to provide patient/resident care and follow nurse care plan
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff

Responsibilities

• Perform personal patient care (bathing, feeding, grooming, mobility)
• Document care and assist with vital signs and measurements
• Recognize changes in patient condition and report to supervisor
• Prepare patients for appointments and transport as needed
• Support environmental maintenance and safety practices
