Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Nursing Float Pool. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with a 6a-6p schedule and every third weekend required.

The position offers comprehensive benefits and requires CNA certification and BCLS, with a high school diploma or GED as a minimum education. Responsibilities include maintaining patient comfort, safety, and family-centered care, while collaborating with the care team across adolescent, adult, and geriatric units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completed course of instruction from an acceptable training school or equivalent.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a clean, safe and quiet environment to support patient comfort and contentment.
• Provide supportive care to patients in all units under supervision and cross training.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and collaborate with medical staff and hospital colleagues.

Education
