Job summary

Aurora Health Care is hiring experienced CNAs to join our Regional Float Pool, with the opportunity to float to up to several Aurora hospitals across the Zone. Self-scheduling and no on-call duties help create a flexible work arrangement.

Requirements include an active WI CNA in good standing and 1+ year acute/hospital experience (2+ years preferred). You will assist RNs with daily patient care, document vitals, and help with admissions, transfers and discharges.

Qualifications

• Active WI CNA in good standing.
• 1+ year acute/hospital experience (2+ years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, hygiene, feeding and ambulation.
• Document vitals and patient data in EMR as requested.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient needs to RN.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes under supervision.
• Collect specimens and assist with routine nursing tasks as directed.
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness of nursing areas.
• Position and transport patients safely using proper technique.
