UF Health Central Florida is hiring a Nursing Assistant for its PRN Float Pool to support patients and nursing teams across multiple clinical areas. The role provides direct patient care and comfort measures, under supervision of RNs and leadership, and helps maintain a clean, safe care environment.

You will float to different units based on staffing needs, gaining exposure to diverse patient populations and clinical workflows while contributing to patient comfort and team efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post-high-school specialized training preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant Float Pool facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures and helping maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment.

As a member of the Float Pool, you'll support different patient care areas based on staffing and operational needs, giving you the opportunity to work with a variety of teams and patient populations.

• Valid Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license

Additionally:

• BLS required
