UF Health The Villages is seeking a Nursing Assistant Float Pool member to support patients and nursing teams across units. You will rotate assignments to meet staffing needs and deliver essential patient care. Under nursing direction, you provide basic physical care, comfort measures, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

The role is days, full-time (36 hours per week). Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED; Florida CNA license preferred; BLS required; 2 years of recent

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and Registered Nurses, the Nursing Assistant Float Pool supports patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures, and maintaining a clean, safe and organized patient environment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Post-high school specialized training preferred

Licensure & Certification

• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
• Preferred: Two (2) years of recent acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• BLS required

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
