UF Health Shands Homecare is seeking a PRN Nursing Assistant to join the Float Pool in Leesburg, FL. You will support patients and nursing teams across multiple clinical areas, delivering basic physical care and comfort measures.

Under RN supervision, you’ll help maintain a safe, clean care environment and adapt to staffing needs. Requirements include a Florida CNA license or 2 years of related experience and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post-high-school specialized training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience, OR Florida CNA license.
• BLS required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsabilités

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant Float Pool facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures and helping maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment.

As a member of the Float Pool, you'll support different patient care areas based on staffing and operational needs, giving you the opportunity to work with a variety of teams and patient populations.
