The ADON will oversee staffing, care plans, regulatory compliance, documentation, and infection control while partnering with physicians and nursing teams to maintain high-quality care. This role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in good standing with the State Board.
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership abilities.
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support Staffing Needs: step in to assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee Resident Care: contribute to MDS, care planning, PI, and infection control programs.
• Manage Nursing Staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate duties based on census and budget.
• Ensure Accurate Documentation: review and maintain up-to-date resident records.
• Develop Care Plans: collaborate with physicians and teams to design individualized plans.
• Support Staff Resources: ensure timely access to equipment and supplies.
• Uphold Infection Control: conduct assessments and implement measures.
