Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Texas to lead quality resident care, support staff, and ensure regulatory compliance. The ADON will supervise nursing teams, coordinate care planning, oversee infection control, and collaborate with physicians and consultants to implement restorative care.
Strong leadership and nursing expertise are essential for success in this dynamic healthcare setting.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed RN in good standing.
- Strong leadership and management experience.
- Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
- Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Support Staffing Needs: step in to assist floor staffing when needed.
- Oversee Resident Care: contribute to MDS, care planning, PI and infection control.
- Manage Nursing Staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign and delegate duties based on census/budget.
- Ensure Accurate Documentation: review and maintain resident records.
- Develop Care Plans: collaborate with physicians, nursing teams and consultants.
- Support Staff Resources: ensure access to equipment, supplies and care resources.
- Uphold Infection Control: conduct assessments and implement infection control measures.
