Cayuga Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for onsite work at Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls, NY. You will support registered nurses with direct patient care, assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, and report changes to the RN. Training and orientation are provided.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and some shifts are 12-hour; weekend and holiday rotation applies. BLS is provided if needed, with competitive wages and benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Direct Patient Care- Toileting, ambulating, repositioning, monitoring and recording intake and output of fluids, recording patient weight, obtaining vital signs, and reporting abnormal findings or changes in the patient’s conditions to the RN.
• Reinforcing education with patients; i.e. incentive spirometer use, and fall prevention.
• Maintaining a clean and organized patient bedside area to ensure a safe workspace.
• Intentionally rounding on each patient every hour.
• Mandatory Orientation Training completion required: one full week of Monday through Friday 8a-4p prior to starting work on the unit.
