Cayuga Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the Schuyler Hospital team in Montour Falls, NY. You will support the nurse with direct patient care, assist with ADLs, and help maintain a safe, clean bedside environment. This full-time night shift offers a 12-hour schedule (3 nights per week) and requires every-other weekend and holidays.

Standard pay ranges from $19.47 to $25.75 per hour with comprehensive benefits. Centralus Talent Acquisition team will coordinate hiring.

Competenze

• High school or equivalent experience.
• BLS- will be provided if needed.

Mansioni

• Direct Patient Care- Toileting, ambulating, repositioning, monitoring and recording intake and output of fluids, recording patient weight, obtaining vital signs, and reporting abnormal findings or changes in the patient’s conditions to the RN.
• Reinforcing education with patients; i.e. incentive spirometer use, and fall prevention.
• Maintaining a clean and organized patient bedside area to ensure a safe workspace.
• Intentionally rounding on each patient every hour.
• Mandatory Orientation Training completion required: one full week of Monday through Friday 8a-4p prior to starting work on the unit.
