Requirements include NYS CNA certification; High School Diploma or GED preferred. Schedule: Days, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, onsite with every other weekend. Pay range $22.00–$28.00 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• NYS CNA certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Customer Service experience regarded as an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to the patient/resident with ADLs (morning and evening care, grooming, oral care).
• Helps prepare unit and patient rooms for admission, transfer, discharge or emergencies.
• Obtains vital signs and monitors blood sugars, documents findings.
• Prepares and assists patients with meals and nourishment.
• Distributes water and nourishments and assists with feeding as needed.
• Supports nursing staff by responding to call bells, stocking rooms and reporting abnormal findings.
• Maintains patient privacy and dignity and documents care in EMR/Point Click Care.
