Job summary

Cayuga Health in Montour Falls, NY is seeking a Nursing Assistant to work full-time days on-site at Schuyler Hospital. You will support the nurse with direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor intake and output, and help maintain a safe, clean bedside area.

Mandatory orientation and training; High school diploma or equivalent required; CPR/BLS training provided if needed; shifts include every other weekend with 12-hour days; pay ranges from $19.47 to $25.75 per hour

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent experience.
• BLS certification provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care including toileting, ambulating, repositioning and vital signs monitoring.
• Record intakes/outputs, patient weight, and report changes to RN.
• Reinforce patient education and ensure safe bedside area.
