Centralus Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for Cayuga Medical Center 4 South Telemetry in Ithaca, NY. You will work closely with the nurse to provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; BLS is provided if needed. CNA certification from NYS is preferred, with three 12-hour day shifts per week and occasional weekends/holidays.

Formación

• High school or equivalent experience required.
• BLS certification available or provided if needed.

Responsabilidades

• Direct Patient Care: toileting, ambulating, repositioning, monitoring I&O, recording vitals, reporting changes to RN.
• Reinforce education with patients and assist with incentive spirometer use and fall prevention.
• Maintain a clean, organized bedside area and safe work environment.
• Intentionally round on each patient every hour.
