Job summary

Cayuga Health is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant for Cayuga Medical Center (4 South Telemetry) in Ithaca, NY. The role supports nurses, assists with ADLs, and contributes to safe, patient-centered care overnight.

You'll work three 12-hour overnight shifts, onsite at 101 Dates Drive, with some weekend/holiday coverage as assigned. BLS is provided if needed; CNA certification preferred. Centralus Health affiliation supports collaborative, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent experience.
• BLS- will be provided if needed.
• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA).
• Previous patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care- Toileting, ambulating, repositioning, monitoring and recording intake and output of fluids, recording patient weight, obtaining vital signs, and reporting abnormal findings or changes in the patient's conditions to the RN.
