Cayuga Health is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join the team onsite at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY. You will provide direct patient care, assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and reinforce patient education while maintaining a clean, safe bedside environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient interactions, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent experience.
• BLS- will be provided if needed.

Responsabilités

• Direct patient care: toileting, ambulating, repositioning, monitoring I/O, and vital signs.
• Reinforcing education with patients (e.g., incentive spirometer use) and fall prevention.
• Maintain a clean, organized bedside area for a safe workspace.
• Intentionally round on each patient every hour.
