Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care- Toileting, ambulating, repositioning, monitoring and recording intake and output; recording patient weight; reporting abnormal findings to the RN.
• Reinforcing education with patients, e.g., incentive spirometer use, fall prevention.
• Maintaining a clean and organized bedside area for a safe workspace.
• Intentionally rounding on each patient every hour.
• Mandatory Orientation Training: one full week of Mon-Fri 8a-4p prior to starting on unit.
