• BLS certification provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care: Toileting, ambulating, repositioning, monitoring and recording intake and output, weighing patients, reporting changes to RN.
• Reinforce patient education and safety measures, e.g., incentive spirometer use and fall prevention.
• Maintain clean, organized bedside area to ensure safety.
• Hourly rounds on each patient.
• Complete mandatory orientation: one full week, Mon-Fri, 8a-4p prior to unit start.
