Job summary

Cayuga Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to work onsite at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and reinforce patient education.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and NYS CNA certification is preferred. BLS is provided if needed, with three 12-hour night shifts per week and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care - Toileting, ambulating, repositioning, monitoring and recording intake and output.
• Reinforcing education with patients and fall prevention.
• Maintaining a clean, safe bedside area and workspace.
• Intentionally rounding on each patient hourly.
