Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) in Weirton, WV for PRN roles. Schedule features 6:00PM-6:30AM, four 12-hour shifts in a six-week period. Compensation starts at $20.00 per hour with weekend differentials and a $1,250 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Includes hospital nursing assistant experience or CNA certification.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bath patients using basin-less bath products and assist with personal care.
• Provide oral hygiene and oral feeding; care for hair and grooming.
• Participate in hourly rounds to monitor patient status.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, bedpans, urinals and equipment.
• Keep units stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing team.

• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
