Job summary

The Saint Therese Corcoran overnight Home Health Aide role supports residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care, providing hands-on care, companionship, and monitoring to ensure safety, independence, and quality of life during the night shift.

This part-time position offers a 11:00pm–7:30am schedule (32 hours per two weeks), every other weekend and holiday, with competitive wages, benefits, tuition discounts, and opportunities for career growth within a mission-driven, faith-based nonprofit.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of caregiving experience in senior care facility setting.
• Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment within scope of practice
• Strong reliability and dependability with consistent attendance and accountability
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to document care accurately and timely in required systems
• Strong teamwork mindset with the ability to collaborate with nurses and care team members
• Ability to follow care plans, supervisor direction, and established policies and procedures
• Ability to safely lift, move, and transfer residents in accordance with training and safety guidelines
• Must be at least 18 years old
• HHA or CNA certification in the State of Minnesota (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and transfers)
• Administer medications per training and policy
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in the electronic charting system
• Observe and report physical or behavioral changes to nursing staff
• Provide companionship and support with daily engagement activities
• Collaborate with nurses and care team members to support resident care plans

We are seeking two Home Health Aides to join us on our overnight shift! Make a meaningful difference at night as a Home Health Aide at Saint Therese. This critical overnight role is essential to ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. You'll provide hands‑on care, compassionate support, and meaningful companionship while working alongside a dedicated care team to help residents maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
