Minimum Qualifications

Current New York Certification as a Nursing Assistant.

Reassignment: Current New York State Department of Health Veterans Home at Oxford employee with permanent or contingent permanent status as a Nursing Assistant Certified, Grade 8.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a geriatric setting

Additional Comments

Float position, not designated to a specific unit/neighborhood.

The work hours for the second position are 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Posted salary range ($51,793 - $55,981) includes statutory hiring rate at step 4 and job rate for grade 8, plus a geographic pay differential of $4,000.

If applicable, the inconvenience pay program of $575 per year will be paid to employees who work four (4) hours or more between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Hours worked between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on an overtime basis are not included for Inconvenience Pay.
