Job summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant at the New York State Department of Health will provide skilled care to veterans and dependents residing at the Montrose facility, including bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, transfers, ostomy care, ROM, and daily living activities. Responsibilities include monitoring signs, recording fluid intake, and supporting the health care team in treatments and observations.

We are a 252-bed Skilled Long Term Care Nursing Facility providing care to the Veterans in our Community

Permanent, non-competitive, full-time appointment.

Posted salary range ($57,943 - $62,131) includes statutory hiring rate at step 4 and job rate for grade 8, plus a geographic pay differential of $6,000 and downstate adjustment of $4,150.
