Responsibilities:

• Check residents routinely to ensure their personal care needs are met according to their wishes.
• Review care plans daily and update as needed.
• Notify the Nurse Supervisor of any changes in resident condition for proper documentation.
• Assist residents with daily needs, including activities, social programs, and transportation to appointments.
• Create a warm, patient, enthusiastic, and cheerful environment.
• Prepare residents' rooms and ensure their comfort.
• Participate in facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10th-grade education.
• Completion of a Nursing Assistant class and in the process of obtaining certification.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Effective communication with Charge Nurses, Director of Nursing, and Administrator.
