Candidates should have basic medical terminology knowledge, be able to read/write/speak English, and hold CNA/LVN credentials or be in a nursing program with a clinical semester

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Float between Orange and Irvine locations as needed.
• Must read, write and speak English effectively.
• CNA/LVN or in accredited nursing program with at least 1 clinical semester.
• Current BLS certification.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrates effective therapeutic communication.
• Experience in patient care, preferably in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.
• Assist patients with hygiene and elimination.
• Maintain a clean and safe unit environment.
• Stock unit supplies and operate hospital equipment as directed.
• Perform routine clerical tasks and assist with related duties.
