Job summary

Temple Health, located at Jeanes Campus in Philadelphia, seeks a Nursing Assistant for the 3C Med Surg unit on a full-time night shift (7p–7:30a). The role supports the RN with delegated patient care and emphasizes customer service in care delivery.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program (or current nursing student with clinical rotations), and 1 year of nursing assistant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation required
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree required
• BLS certification required
• CNA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to unlicensed nursing staff.
• Incorporates the Hospital's Customer Service Program concepts into patient care activities.
• Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required or
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience

• 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred

Licenses

• Basic Life Support Required
• Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
