Geisinger Lewistown Hospital (GLH) is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care and unit operations under supervision. The role includes direct patient care and clerical duties to assist the care team in delivering quality services.

Eligible candidates may receive a $1,500 sign-on bonus and up to $3 per hour in shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekend shifts. The program also offers up to $40,000 in financial support to pursue nursing education.

Formación

• Performs clerical duties and direct patient care in the unit as needed.
• Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the unit’s age range.
• Transcribes and processes orders according to unit standards.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient care as directed by the licensed nurse, within the nursing assistant scope of practice.
• Identifies and documents patient needs per established standards.
• Reports changes in patient condition to licensed personnel promptly.
• Assists with activities of daily living and continuity of care.
• Supports patient safety and unit workflow as assigned.
