Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the 5th Floor Surgical Telemetry. This part-time role covers 7am–7pm with duties including turning patients, assisting with mobility, and providing hygiene care under RN supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, BLS within 90 days, and CNA preferred with 6 months hospital or long-term care experience recommended. Tuition assistance and PTO benefit the team.

Responsibilities

• Turns and positions patients every 2 hours using proper body mechanics.

• Assists with personal hygiene including showering, bathing, and oral care.
• Takes and records vital signs within established time frame.
• Conducts hourly rounds to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
