Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a Nurse Assistant to support the nursing staff on the Telemetry/Medical-Surgical units. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will perform selected nursing procedures and routine duties in caring for patients.
ACLS is required for all staff; new graduates are welcome. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, CNA preferred, and BLS is required. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and compassionate care.
Baptist Health Louisville has eight Telemetry/Medical-Surgical units in the main hospital. Each unit consists of 21 private rooms. The staff provides intermediate-level care for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of different medical diagnoses. Each unit fosters teamwork that allows the nurse to function successfully in meeting the needs of our patients. All of the units provide high-level, fast-paced, patient and family-centered care. ACLS is required for all staff. New graduates are welcome on each of the Telemetry units.
