Job summary

The Wellington at North Bend Crossing, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Nursing Aide to provide instrumental activities of daily living, assist with medications and treatments, and support residents’ independence. You will escort residents, help with meals, and participate in activities planning.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times
