Job summary

Summit Point, a Sonida Senior Living community in Macedonia, OH, is seeking a Nursing Aide. The role supports residents with daily living activities, medication assistance, and mobility needs within an Independent Living and Assisted Living setting.

The position emphasizes compassionate care, dignity, and teamwork, with opportunities to engage residents and contribute to a hi-tech care environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards.
• May assist with planning and executing activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Experience in nursing or senior living/home health
